Elkford Clean Up Program 2021
The Elkford Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce in collaboration with Bearspaw Contracting and Teck, the Elkford Clean Up program! This program will run from May 1st 2021 to June 15th 2021 and from September 1st 2021 to October 15th 2021, and includes cleaning up roadsides, pathways, parks and the rest of our great outdoors from 7 mile to Round Prairie. Elkford Clean Up is a great way to get our community actively keeping Elkford and area clean as well supporting our local businesses!
This year we have 2 options for our residents and businesses to sign up to get involved with
Individual Registration and Group Registration!

Group Registration Rules
Here are the rules for the Elkford Clean Up Groups program: 1) Registration form must be filled out and returned to the Elkford Chamber of Commerce in order to receive your clean up supplies and to qualify for the $100 local restaurant business gift card. If you are not registered you may not qualify for the gift card. This is a $100 GC for your group! Please note: NO MORE THAN 10 PEOPLE TO A GROUP!!! 2) Once registered, the Elkford Chamber will give you the cleaning supplies and you have until the end of the Group Clean Up date to clean up the area assigned to your group. It is up to you to dispose of the garbage collected. 3) Upload a before and after picture of the clean up area on the Facebook group: Elkford Clean Up, don’t forget to include your full Teck garbage bags for qualification. Once photos are uploaded the Elkford Chamber of Commerce will like the post and send out your gift card in the mail. Please note that we would like an update if the area still needs more attention to add it to the next group clean up date. 4) You can participate in this program as many times as you wish!!! There will be no limitation on how many times you register for the duration of this program. |

If you are not registered you may not qualify for the gift card. 2) Once registered, the Elkford Chamber will bring the cleaning supplies to your requested drop off address and you have until October 15th to choose an area to fill 2 Teck large garbage bags. It is up to you to dispose of the garbage collected. 3) Upload a before and after picture of the clean up area of your choosing on the Facebook group: Elkford Clean Up, don’t forget to include your 2 full large Teck garbage bags for qualification. Once photos are uploaded the Elkford Chamber of Commerce will like the post and send out your gift card in the mail. 4) You can participate in this program as many times as you wish!!! There will be no limitation on how many times you register for the duration of this program. |
