It is with sincere disappointment that we announce the cancellation of the 2026 Elkford Chamber of Commerce Business Awards, scheduled for Saturday, October 24. This was not an easy decision. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, we have been unable to secure a designated driver service, which is a requirement under the District of Elkford's bylaws for our event. Combined with lower-than-anticipated ticket sales, we have made the difficult decision that we cannot move forward with this year's celebration as planned. We know many of you were looking forward to an evening of celebrating our local business community, and we share in that disappointment. A great deal of time and effort has gone into planning this event, and we sincerely apologize to everyone who purchased tickets, supported the event, or made plans to attend. Our Award Winners Will Still Be Celebrated! While we won't be gathering for our traditional awards evening, we remain committed to recognizing the incredible businesses, organizations, and individuals who make Elkford such a special community. We will be arranging individual award presentations and gifts for this year's winners, ensuring they receive the recognition they deserve. We will also be celebrating and announcing our award recipients through our social media channels, so please stay tuned! All trophy sponsors will still receive recognition through our online award announcements and social media posts as we celebrate this year's winners. We are truly disappointed that we won't be able to celebrate together this year.
